Position Description Summary:

The PMO Lead, Americas Transformation Office provides critical support to the Senior Management Team (SMT) of the Americas in shaping the strategic direction of the company, providing analytical, performance tracking and project management support. The PMO Lead is expected to drive the strategic planning process including the analytical and tracking support to ensure that the right goals are set and then achieved. The PMO Lead will work in collaboration with specialized staff in the Americas Transformation Office to achieve both the Americas Strategy and Transformation goals.  As such, the PMO Lead is expected to provide oversight on the ongoing initiatives within the Americas Transformation Office in the areas of Strategy, Performance Management, Change, Projects and Communication. In short, this role acts as the partner to the Americas SMT and is critical to ensuring the Americas Transformation Office works collaboratively and effectively to achieve the goals set forward by the leadership team.


Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.  It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations):


  • Acts as a partner to the Senior Management Team (SMT) for the Americas to drive forward PRIMUS goals
  • Drives and facilitates the Americas strategic planning process to achieve Revenue, EBIT, productivity and customer goals
  • Facilitates SMT meetings to ensure alignment, accountability and maximize productivity of the team
  • Drives performance across the Americas through a rigorous performance management system that includes tracking and reporting on strategic initiatives, key metrics and escalating risks/issues
  • Responsible for providing timely market and customer analytics to support strategy and priority initiatives
  • Communicates proactively across business units and organizational layers to gain feedback, buy-in and alignment
  • Challenge assumptions and use PMO knowledge and expertise to keep leaders engaged
  • Represents the Americas Transformation Office at the SMT to provide visibility on portfolio of initiatives and resolution of or escalation of issues
  • Leads the development of communication strategy and execution of programs to promote company strategy and priorities
  • Prepares story boards and presentations to support the SMT, Board Meetings and other executive requirements
  • Supports change management programs linked to the Americas strategy
  • Oversees the Americas Transformation Office to ensure staffing requirements are adequate on the portfolio of projects, feedback on work completed, onboarding new members of the team to create a culture of performance and service


Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):

  • Candidate requires 7+ years' experience in strategy development and facilitation
  • Business degree is required, MBA is preferred with experience working in a multinational environment
  • Facilitation experience, particularly among executive teams specifically in strategic planning and decision meetings
  • Must demonstrate ability to think strategically and formulate strategic plans to drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent problem solving and quantitative analysis skills to conduct complex strategic analyses with limited guidance
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership skills to develop strong working relationships at all levels/geographies
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize on an ongoing basis. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate effectively: team player
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required with an emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and the creation of presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Must have proven track record for meeting or exceeding goals
