Job Title: Data Center Lead

Job Type: Permanent, Direct Hire, Full Time, 40+ Hours/week

Shift: Day

Pay Rate: $20.96 + Benefits + 401(k)


Position Description Summary:

Responsible for providing and maintaining effective materials order requests, customer service, inventory management, and customer purchase order processing. Provide information to resolve customer order and shipment related responsibilities.

Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.  It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):

  • Reviews difficult or complex work procedures to resolve questions presented by workers. 
  • Ensures accurate, up-to-date records of inventoryin stockroom and daily operations; completes necessary forms or paperwork for documentation.
  • Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify; fills out appropriate forms or documents
  • Fills orders and issues materials and supplies per requests; documents transactions, prepares requisitions; keeps records of storeroom inventory.
  • Oversees and participates in ordering a variety of stock items to standard stock levels
  • Prepares necessary forms such as bills of lading.
  • Will utilize computerized or automated system to accomplish tasks.
  • Provides coaching and training as needed

Scope Work on problems complex in scope. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.

Essential Functions:

Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):

This is a senior level position. Good interpersonal skills required.  Must be able to read/write technical documents and communicate them to Material Handlers.  High school diploma or equivalent required. Generally prefer 2-5 years of experience.
